Psychological Support

Principles

At KrNU, psychological support of the educational process is provided by psychologists who ensure timely and systematic study of the psychophysical state of students, the motives of their behavior and activities, taking into account age, intellectual, physical, gender and other individual characteristics.

The principles of their activity are:

  • respect for human rights;
  • scientific rigor, integrity and continuity, professional competence and responsibility;
  • individual approach;
  • confidentiality;
  • availability of social, educational and psychological services (assistance);
  • voluntariness;
  • compliance with professional ethics.

Now, based on the experience of experiencing military events, it is important to provide psychological and socio-pedagogical assistance to all participants in the educational process, as the situation of war is a time of gaining spiritual experience.

Spiritual experience has the following components:

1) strengthening self-control (the ability to remain calm, sober, and direct the will to perform appropriate and consistent actions);

2)  розширення  самоусвідомлення  (спрямованість  на  осягнення  ситуації  в цілому, знаходження сенсу у наявних ситуаціях);

3) опанування  емоційними  афектами  (подолання  страху,  гніву, роздратування);

4)  екологічність  взаємостосунків − вміння  зберігати  власні  психологічні кордони (не втручатись у безглузді суперечки, не переконувати людей з певними поглядами, не ображатись на інших, нікого не ображати).
