On May 18, Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University hosted the Science Picnic “Science for Peace and Security”, an event that brought together students, teachers and residents of the city around science and charity. The Science Picnic was a great opportunity for everyone to dive into the world of science, technology and innovation, as well as to contribute to the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Participants had the opportunity to see interesting scientific experiments and take part in master classes from leading university scientists.
Interactive zones were organized where visitors could conduct experiments on their own, learn about the latest technologies and learn about the achievements of modern science.
Students and teachers presented their technical projects, developments, and startups. Visitors could see the results of scientific research and innovative ideas being implemented at the university. As part of the picnic, a charity fair was organized where visitors could buy a variety of products made by students and volunteers. The proceeds were used to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department raised 5,000 hryvnias and won the fundraising championship.
Thanks to the efforts of the organizers, participants, and visitors, the Science Picnic at KrNU became not only a celebration of science, but also an important charity event that united the scientific community and city residents around a common goal - supporting our defenders.
