passed away. His vitality, love for science, kindness, and constant willingness to offer support made him not just a colleague, but a true friend to many of us. In this difficult time, we stand together in sharing the pain of this loss. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, in the work to which he devoted his life, and in the memories we created together.

About 95% of the AIS department's members have a science degree.
