Two conferences are held by the efforts of AIS department employees with the involvement of employers:
- International scientific and practical conference "Semiconductor Materials, Information Technologies and Photovoltaics” (NMITF websiteapproximate dates: May, 15-30).
- All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students "Current issues of automation and information technologies” (ATIT website, approximate dates: November, 15-30).

The staff of the department is responsible for conducting the International Competition of Student Research Papers in the specialty "Automation and computer-integrated technologies".
Until 2022, the department in cooperation with "Altexsoft" held the All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference "IT-Perspective".
