Alona Nikitina, Associate Professor of AIS Department, took part in a number of STEM workshops during the 15th session of STEM School 2024, which took place on August 15 in the innovative space of the STEM school on the basis of the Private Educational Institution “Lyceum KMDZ STEM” in Kyiv.
About 300 students from all regions of Ukraine, including scientists, educators, methodologists and coordinators of STEM education, gathered to share their experience and gain new knowledge in the field of STEM.
Alona Nikitina took part in the following STEM workshops: “Meet micro:bit”, ‘STEM-lesson’, ‘STEM-laboratory based on micro:bit’, and received a certificate of advanced training. These workshops allowed educators to communicate and share their experience in using STEM technologies in the educational process. During these sessions, participants had the opportunity to learn how to integrate STEM into educational activities using modern methodological approaches and innovative tools.
The STEM School has traditionally become an important platform for communication and exchange of experience among educators, promoting the introduction of STEM education into the educational process at all levels. The event was organized by the State Scientific Institution “Institute for Modernization of Education Content” in partnership with the “Osvita Publishing House”, the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the Center for Professional Development of Teachers in Kyiv and the network of educational organizations “KMDZ”.
