Teachers and students of the AIS Department delivered another humanitarian cargo to the soldiers of the Armed Forces at the front

A total of UAH 39,000 raised by the teachers and students of the Department of Automation and Information Systems (AIS) of Kremenchuk National University was used to purchase two sets of winter tires for cars, gas cylinders, heaters, tools for repairing equipment, boots, warm mittens, etc.

The January shipment is the third one to the frontline for the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers fighting in the Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Kupyansk sectors. In January, the department sent them a much-needed set of winter tires for their car. The military made an urgent request for it.

This time, the fundraiser was organized by the students of the department, who are already working in the field of information technology alongside their studies. The request was urgent, so the students promptly raised UAH 15,000, which they handed over to volunteers responsible for purchasing and delivering humanitarian supplies to the front. The military have already received the parcel and sincerely thanked for the timely assistance.

In general, the Department of Automation and Information Systems has been providing humanitarian assistance to the sponsored military unit since June 2023. During this period, the specialists of the Department of AIS raised UAH 24,000. In the summer, the teachers donated funds to purchase gas cylinders, film, shovels, tools for repairing equipment, as well as medicines and hygiene products. All this was necessary for the soldiers to settle in at the new location.

Later, a difficult situation arose in a field hospital where several soldiers were admitted - they needed clothes and warm blankets. The problem again required an urgent solution. For the donations provided by the head of the AIS department, Professor Anatoliy Oksanych, and the department's professor, Iryna Oksanych, a batch of T-shirts, sweatpants, socks and detergents was purchased. Professor Ihor Shevchenko collected blankets and warm clothes. Volunteers delivered all this to the soldiers.

In December 2023, on New Year's Eve, the military asked scientists to help them buy another set of winter tires for their car. In addition, they needed heaters, gas cylinders, boots, warm mittens, and several dozen knitted jumpers to change into when their uniforms got soaked in the rain and snow.

The teachers of the department immediately responded to the request and raised UAH 13,500. The funds were transferred to volunteers responsible for procurement. All the ordered items were purchased and delivered to the front line. Our defenders sent a photo report and sincere gratitude for the assistance. Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
