Lecture dedicated to the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's independence

On September 29, students and teachers of the Department of AIS attended a lecture dedicated to the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's independence

Tamara Plaksiy, PhD in History, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Philosophy, Head of the Department of Educational and Cultural Work, began her lecture "Independence of Ukraine - a Beacon of Freedom" by singing a song that has become the anthem of war since Russia openly attacked Ukraine, "Oh, there is a red viburnum in the meadow". The online audience consisted of nearly two hundred students and teachers from all the university's institutes and faculties.

The purpose of the lecture was to define the stages of the Ukrainian people's struggle for state independence in the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, to reveal their peculiarities, and to analyze Putin's attempts to weaken and destroy Ukraine's independence.
